The Role:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Engages in the Planning and scheduling process with the Maintenance Planner.
• Ensures that all his job plans include a hazard analysis (HA).
• Assists with the preparation of a Permit to Work.
• Ensures that all SOP is followed.
• Participates in OE Meetings or Shut-down meetings
• Understand and be competently to follow SOP with some assistance from senior level.
• Competently to provide information for RCA e.g. capturing trend, event log, etc.
• Competently to provide information for HAZOP/IHAZID.
• Competently to perform Area Controller at assigned facility
• Be members of emergency response team
• Competently to provide information for requirement of ABS class survey regulation
• Able to check engine room bilge level and pipe leaked and other abnormal condition.
• Understand all piping system in engine room.
• Understand and able to perform routine engine room operation.
• Able to correctly close a work order for CM and PM in the CMMS with all relevant details
• Lead PM & CM tasks and demonstrate confidence in troubleshooting, inspection and diagnose of less complex problems.
• Lead PM & CM tasks and demonstrate confidence in troubleshooting, inspection and overhaul of mech seals.
• Lead PM & CM tasks and demonstrate confidence in troubleshooting, inspection, pressure testing, replacement and overhaul of each.
• Demonstrate fair understanding of system component's function, material of construction and operation of all seal type.
• Demonstrate and Understanding of system component's function, material of construction and operation of all equipment.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret a pneumatic and hydraulic schematic.
• Demonstrate and understanding of piping system component and function. P&ID, standard code & symbols, Piping Specification.
• Demonstrate and understanding of equipment installation effecting shaft alignment, shaft alignment method & tools, alignment problem identification.
• Demonstrate and understanding of system component's function and operation of all equipment.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematic.
• Able to do PM & CM tasks and demonstrate confidence in troubleshooting, inspection and overhaul
• Demonstrate and understanding of lifting equipment operation & usage, specification.
• Lead PM & CM tasks and demonstrate confidence in inspection and repair, load testing.
• Lead PM & CM tasks and demonstrate confidence in troubleshooting, inspection and diagnosis of less complex problems both mechanical and control.
• Able to lead PM & CM, inspection & troubleshooting of all rolling element bearing and low speed equipment plain bearing.
• Able to do PM & CM, troubleshooting of all power transmission components.
• Demonstrate the ability to correctly use and maintain all types of measuring tools.
• Demonstrate the ability to correctly maintain and use tools on general equipment.
• Able to identify early stage of high vibration problem in general equipment with own senses.
• Demonstrate fair understanding in design, limitation of mechanical power transmission equipment.
• Demonstrate fair understanding in bearing types and their application.
• Demonstrate an understanding the characteristic of steam between saturated steams and superheat steam.
• Demonstrate the ability to correctly perform planned maintenance routine on Cargo oil pump system.
• Demonstrate the ability to correctly perform planned maintenance routine on Inert gas system.
• Demonstrate the ability to correctly perform planned maintenance routine on Boiler water treatment.
• Demonstrate the ability to correctly perform planned maintenance routine on Turbine Alternator.
• Able to measure and calculate of fuel oil quantity when Bunker or DE-Bunker.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:

• Held "Second Class Marine Engineer 750-3000 KW." marine competency of certificate and minimum experienced in Oil tanker (DWT > 20,000 ton which fully with COW, Automatic control of Boiler operation, Inert gas system, COPT, Turbine generator), offshore experience in Mechanical Maintenance onboard /FSO/FPSO 5 years sea service or experience minimum 5 years.
• Achieved advance tanker certificate.
• Achieved advance fire fighting certificate.
• Achieved 4 Basic survival at sea certificate
