The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
To design, develop, and deliver training and development programmes to support Manufacturing Operations. Responsible for on the job training and assessment within their specialist subject area.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
• Design and development of supporting material and documentation for Training and
• Development activities
• Delivery of training programmes ( to include company induction)
• Assessment of Work based learning activities
• Liaison with manufacturing areas to include Technicians/LT’s/GL’s/PM’s and support functions
• Liaison with external bodies to include SSC/Awarding bodies/Training providers/ FE/AML events
• Maintain Learner documentation and associated documentation
• Support with internal and external audit systems, IQA/EQA requirements and document control procedures
• Raise and monitor PO/Preq for training services, consumables etc
• Maintain and improve own work area and Technical Academy ensuring manufacturing standards are observed
• Monitor and support area Training Support Head

The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company’s objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Level 3 Training Qualification – training can be provided
• PTTLLS – Preparing to Teach in The Life Long Sector – training can be provided
• Assessors award (D32/33 with A1 update or CAVA) – training can be provided
• Subject Matter Expert within a technology area
• Development and delivery of OTJ training
• In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing Operations processes and procedures
• Able to use company manufacturing IT systems – eg EASE/FLAGS
• Knowledge of statutory regulations
