The Company:
A Global Process Technology business within refining, petrochemical processing, gas processing and energy Industries.

The Role:
As a Technology Specialist – Hydroprocessing you will discover a challenging role, which involves providing technical service to support the startup and operation of our licensed and non-licensed technology to internal and external customers for Hydroprocessing and Renewables technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with company processes and products, understanding the customers' needs, fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships, and looking for opportunities for further business are the main aspects of the role.

As a Technology Specialist your main duties will involve:

• Evaluating commercial operations, through remote monitoring or on-site troubleshooting, to assist customers in achieving their goals.
• Provide technical support for new unit start-ups and turn-around support on catalyst changeout of Company licensed units.
• Mentoring less experienced engineers and scientists.
• Developing, preparing, updating and presenting training materials for Company specific technology training courses.
• Providing sales support; including technical and commercial perspective, recommendations on guarantees, startup support requirements and commercial operating experience.
• Participating in Engineering review meetings for new units and revamps including Design Basis, PFD, P&ID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, and others activities, bringing operational and safety considerations into design to ensure reliable performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Technology Specialist you will have experience:
• University education in Chemical Engineering.
• Relevant refinery or Refiner experience providing a good all-round knowledge of refining technologies, their equipment and operations
• Experience with hydrocracking in a technical support or operations role.
• Experience with distillate hydrotreating technologies is considered a plus.
• Ability to conduct physical inspections requiring physical climbing and crawling through & walking on pressure vessels, distillation columns, tanks, and piping is required.
