The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This position is for a technical project management role, working on an innovative new Hybrid/Electrified product from a major automotive manufacturer. The individual will join a team which is responsible for the delivery of a complete vehicle propulsion system, and he/she will be responsible for project managing engineering deliverables from different teams within the Powertrain department. The deliverables of the role are:
- Identify and co-ordinate delivery tasks for Electrified Powertrain systems, components and software to ensure programme engineering requirements are fulfilled
- Assist managers to identify resource requirements to be able to deliver
- Develop and manage robust timing plans for technical delivery work, in accordance with Programme/Project gateways and milestones
- Manage design requirements cascade process, drive through to completion
- Manage timely delivery of FMA process (DFMEA, Robustness) working with Design engineers
- Manage component piece, D&D and tooling costs and work to identify cost opportunities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Project Management skills and mechanical/electrical engineering knowledge.
A minimum of 2 years automotive project management experience in either an OEM or supplier
Degree in an engineering related field or equivalent

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Understanding of the JLR PCDS project management process, and knowledge in the field of Hybrid and Electrified vehicles would be advantageous.
