The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
Typically degree qualified and progressing towards Chartered Engineer status with up to 5 years experience in role/function or HNC/HND qualified with over 10 years relevant experience. Manages smaller projects where the definition has generally been provided by others. Provides a support role on larger projects. Responsible for guiding the technical contribution from teams of engineers and designers and for routine design quality and approval.

Experience with the following telecoms systems required:
- Voice and data telephony
- Networking
- DWDM
- Radio systems (DTRS, NDB, AWOS, ARS)
- PAGA
- Security systems (CCTV, ACS, BIDS, FIDS, PSIM, ISS)


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To provide assistance to lead engineers on a major telecoms project. The successful individual will need to be able to work on the design for multiple systems when/where required. This may include cover for lead engineers to ensure project continuity.
