The Company:
Our client is a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions for the infrastructure (pipe systems, and power and communication cables), automotive and advanced packaging markets. They have its headquarters in the UAE and Singapore.

Our client is on the way to increase their capacity even further with a multi - billion dollar mega- project. By the end of 2013, they will have added a 3rd Ethane cracker to create the largest Ethane cracker complex in the world.

The Role:
This position’s main responsibility is to create and implement a comprehensive operations standard procedures and implement same considering efficiency, Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance guidelines and COMPANY HSEQ regulations.
• Frequent review , prompt monitoring and implementation of Terminal Standard procedures and compliance .
• Daily planning of terminal operations at quays including feeders stowage plan, yards , gates , warehouses and at loading points of silos and autoloaders.
• Plan , Supervise and Monitor daily equipments tests
• Ensure timely coordination , implementation , scheduling and completion of maintenance activities with maintenance department and the availability of equipment for all operational requirement
• Lead , Supervise , approve and follow up planners daily activities
• Strictly comply with the relevant QA / HSE requirements and monitor implementation of same by contractor staff .
• Plan , Control , Supervise and follow up all House-keeping functions in all work areas
• Coordinate and lead communication and frequent meetings with other departments’ team leaders.
• Responsible for all terminal daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly various reports.
• Assisting as instructed by the Terminal Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Vietnamese only
• Engineering or Bachelors/ shipping BSC or Mariner Degree Holder with remarkable scholastic record.
• 10 years professional experience in ports, container terminal operations and shipping with last 5 years in middle management operation positions at containers terminal.
• Strong safety background.
• Excellent written and oral communications skill.
• Can handle pressure and willing to work long hours
• Astute business acumen.
• Has the ability to deal with people from all levels of the organization.
