The Role:

Provide a flexible and professional service to Whole Vehicle Engineering and customers, in build, sign off, test, reporting and to provide learning to support business activities.


- Operate in accordance with Test and Measure Work Request Process.
- Actively demonstrate commitment to the criteria for professional Engineer.
- Support reasonable requests for overseas and offsite travel, unless agreed exemption.
- Ensure work carried out includes the required paper work.
- Always work to safe and environmental practices.
- Actively take part in continuous improvement activities.
- Resolve concerns using practical problem solving techniques.
- Report equipment damage and wear.
- Provide a flexible approach to work to support Whole Vehicle Engineering activities.
- Train in appropriate skills base as required.
- Work within a multi-skilled Engineering role and environment.
- Carry out testing on vehicle and components
- PLC programming for durability testing
- Vehicle instrumentation
- Structural testing
- Report writing
- Data acquisition and analysis


- Qualified to degree standard or agreed equivalent experience/qualifications
- Commitment to or exemption from offsite/overseas travel
- Develops in line with business needs to support both own and departments technical knowledge and capability
