The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Instrumentation of vehicle to defined processes. Operation and control of NVH rolling roads, on 2 shift basis whilst conducting measurements of both noise & vibration. Use of LMS measurement systems to measure vehicle test instrumentation. Analysis, verification and storage of the measurement data, providing information to NVH teams. Working with the NVH team assisting with development and issue resolution. Vehicle integrity checking to ensure fit for purpose for test.

Skills Required:
Experience working in an NVH testing environment. Automotive experience is desirable, working to defined test procedures on both vehicle and powertrain issues.
Experience with the instrumentation (accelerometers, microphones, and noise sources) and data acquisition and analysis, using LMS SCADAS hardware. Communication, team working and planning to provide effective and agreed test plans.

Experience Required:
Experience within an NVH environment. Product development testing experience. Experience of instrumentation, data collection and validation. Ability to lead test measurement activity and dedicated fitting resource.

Experience Preferred:
Understanding of vehicle mechanical systems. Ability to communicate technical issues effectively. Rolling road or test cell experience is desirable.
