The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Brakes Dynamometer Test Technician responsible for installing test fixtures and test components into dynamometer. Operate dynamometer running company standard tests. With on job training the successful candidate would be able to run a test from start to finish unsupervised, including the following. Responsible for split double day shift (6.00am-2.00pm / 1.30pm-9.30pm week about) of the brakes dynamometer facility including organizing maintenance and calibration Organizing design and manufacture of rig fixtures Ensuring test parts are ordered and available for test Organizing and project managing of outsourced work to other external brakes dynamometers After suitable training, writing scripts to run special applications on dynamometer, also modal testing of brake components using bespoke test machine. Responsible for storage/retrieval of rigs, fixtures and test parts. Documentation and reporting of test results."
Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS Engineering Degree or relevant test/rig experience. Hands on Fitting experience. Good communication skills. Experience in running a Link dynamometer or other dynamometer or test rigs would be an advantage Experience/knowledge of braking and suspension systems
Experience Required:
Degree and or test rig experience
Experience Preferred:
Experience in running a Link dynamometer or other dynamometer or test rigs would be an advantage. Experience/knowledge of braking and suspension systems
Education Required:
Degree and or test rig experience

Additional Information :
Able to work unsupervised, well organised, self-motivated, good practical skills. Hourly rate is for double day shift, no extra shift rate applicable
