A global leading well services company with an extensive presence within Australia.

The Role:
We are looking for expressions of interest for a Testing Specialist. The role is responsible for accurately evaluating the production potential of reservoirs by conducting tests and utilizing a selection of specialized downhole tools and surface equipment. With advanced skills in techniques, processes and practices the candidate understands the concept of perforation and how to create flow paths by using down hole explosive and different techniques to perforate the casing, cement sheet and the reservoir rock. The position reports to the Field Service Manager.

Responsibilities includes:
• Advises customers on technology best suited for tests.
• Plans and supervises well test jobs, providing customers with reports that consolidate findings.
• Plans and organizes servicing of required tools and equipment.
• Manages and administers well site operations to ensure service meets customers' requirements.
• Establishes goals in order to meet objectives and provides leadership to subordinates.
• Directs the selection, preparation and qualification, loading, dispatch, and unloading of tools and equipment.
• Operates equipment to perform services.
• Supervise field operator crews in the preparation of the unit, calibration of equipment, and enforcement of safety rules and regulations.
• Calls and leads safety meetings.
• Maintains and strengthens customer relations through frequent contact and promotes sales and services.
• Isolates and documents field failures and their causes, and makes required repairs.
• Signs service orders and ensures customer's representative also signs orders prior to service operations.
• Performs all follow-up duties and reporting duties concerning equipment accountability and safety.
• Complies with applicable company policies, including personnel, QHSE standards and procedures.
• Completes required safety training.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High school diploma and two-year associate's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of four and a half years' of relevant experience.
