The Role:
Currently recruiting for a Tie In/Shutdown Co-ordinator from an Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Construction background for a fixed term contract.

You will manage the Tie In/Shutdown activities on site, with responsibility for several direct reports.

Project Summary:

Implementing a major project, the Clean Fuel Project (CFP) which comprises the upgrade of two existing refineries. The Clean Fuels Project is a major upgrade and expansion of the existing refineries. The overall project value is approximately 14-15 billion US dollars.

Responsibilities:

•Manage and maintain the field engineering activities on site, drawings, specifications, field requisitions, as built drawings, etc.
•Provide Tie In/Shutdown expertise to field construction for permanent and temporary works, ensuring that the work is completed safely, efficiently and to quality in accordance with the applicable specifications and in line with accepted engineering practices
•Verify the scope of work is completed and handed over to the Client/Operator in a defined, timely and systematic process
•Provide constructability input to design and execution processes. Provide input to the construction execution strategy, contracting strategy and milestone planning
•Ensure that all Field Engineering activities (including construction engineering for both temporary and permanent works) are carried out in accordance with agreed engineering practices and procedures and with due consideration for the safety aspects of each operation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in working in operating refineries, shutdowns and Tie-In operations including hot taps

A degree in a relevant construction discipline is highly desirable
