The Company:
Our Client's fabrication capabilities providing quality fabrication, site services, and vessel mobilisations to the Subsea and Marine Industries
The site offers large undercover fabrication and painting halls, external fabrication capability and quayside frontage.
The company also offer project management and design capabilities.
The group can now provide a complete service from project management, design, procurement, fabrication, commissioning and testing through to loadout and delivery.

The Role:
Working as part of a large welding team you will be welding duplex pipe work for the fabrication of Oil & Gas and Structural steelwork.

You will be using the TIG welding process, GTAW, welding to ASME IX standards in the 6G and possibly 6GR positions. Pipe work will include 2" to 30" pipe diameter with up to 15mm wall thickness. All welds are subject to X-Ray tests.

Trade tests will be carried out in the most suitable position according to experience and previous Codings held. PAYE Rates are £15.01 for 38 hours per week with overtime available at time and a half and double time.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
TIG welding duplex pipework in the 6G position
Worked to ASME IX Coded standards

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Current 6G TIG welding codings
It may also be desirable to have MIG Flux Core welding experience with carbon and stainless steel
