The Role:
The TLWP Site Manager will manage all day to day activities at the TLWP fabrication site on behalf of the TLWP Delivery Manager from detail engineering to handover to the Installation Manager post load out onto the transport vessel quayside at the fabrication yard. Key responsibility of the TLWP Site Manager is to deliver as per project schedule and budget the TLWP and in accordance with the requirements of the project in safety, quality, reliability, operability and maintainability, according to contractual requirements and to manage the integration of the topside facilities, drill rig package, and hull. This position will initially be located in Houston and then move to the shipyard (likely SE Asia).

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
• Support the TLWP Delivery Manager to prepare the project budget both in controlling in-house man-hours and outside expenditures;
• Responsible to ensure all HSE and QA/QC aspects of the works, including engineering, third party review/monitoring, documentation requirements in accordance with company's Q.A. manual, standard instructions, and project specific requirements;
• Be accountable for all team members and vendors while at site
• Responsible for controlling project schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones, and timely project progress payments;
• Responsible for promoting a safe behaviour based culture at all work sites;
• Represent Company on construction related activities on the project from planning through execution;
• Support the TLWP Project Manager/FEED Manager during completion of FEED on discipline-related bid evaluation and contract preparation, and preparation and planning for Execution;
• Responsible ensuring EPIC contractor compliance with for agreed schedule, processes, plans and procedures;
• Ensure EPIC contractor compliance with all discipline-related technical requirements during detailed design, fabrication, integration, pre-commissioning, installation, hook-up and commissioning;
• Interface and coordinate with multi-discipline, multi-system engineering and inspection teams both on-site and at vendor facilities during all phases of the project;
• Interface and coordinate with the other Project teams and with the EPCI contractor throughout Project Execution;
• Technical management of the detailed design of the marine systems associated with the TLWP hull as this work is executed by the EPC I contractor to ensure compliance with the FEED;
• Manage and coordinate design interfaces as it is executed by the EPCI contractor;
• Monitor equipment delivered at Site and delay that impacts construction integration and Pre-commissioning progress;
• In conjunction with the commissioning team ensure that commissioning management system is in place and fully populated at Pre-commissioning start;
• Review and analyse planning updates and critical path;
• Detect all possible delays and constraints on Site and propose remedial action;
• Review all Contractor periodic reports related to construction. Monitor production indicators to allow Company to follow-up the general trend of the construction;
• Document change and participate in change order negotiations as required;
• Report progress of the work and raise issues to management in a timely manner;
• Perform any other duties as directed by the TLWP Delivery Manager.
Decision Making Authority and Accountability
The TLWP Site Manager will follow TLWP Delivery Manager’s directions to support the implementation of the Chissonga TLWP through sail away at the yard.
Primary Interfaces
TLWP Project Team and Technical Areas ( FPSO, Quality, HSE, ), Support Areas (Project Service, Integration etc)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Minimum 15 years of new build experience in shipyard construction, rig integration and commissioning within the offshore Oil and Gas industry;
• High awareness and knowledge of safe working practices and the ability to work with different disciplines and cultures;
• Knowledge and skills in Naval Architecture, Structural Design, Outfitting design, Accommodation design, shipyard construction methods, equipment installation, testing/commissioning;
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
• Experience with EPIC contracts;
• Self-motivated, results oriented with conceptual and flexible mindset
• Keep good records in support of contract close out
