The Company:

The Role:
The ideal candidate will come from an Automotive background and have will:
o Provide and lead technical support to the project teams and to the plants
on the Injection system and tool design
o Up date Tooling and Injection standards
o Support Injection & Tooling development Engineer during development project

Project support:
· Lead the tool design stage and ensures a good communication with the toolmaker in order to ensure a simultaneous tool and product engineering
· Ensure action plan follow-up on issues raised during project design review and QUAD meetings
· Use on a daily basis the standard working documents related to the department (Tool standard / Tool and Injection expertise folder / Shrinkage database…)
· Give a technical support to the prototype department (shrinkage definition, Injection system, take part of the trials…)
· Support the Tooling and Injection Development Engineer in order to ensure a tool transfer and start of production in the plant in the best circumstances

Plant support (development and serial life):
· Assist plant to improve quality of the parts, scrap rate, cycle time…
· Assist plant for new technologies or new product line

Continuous improvement:
· Lead or participate in problem solving workshop and develops right first time methods
· Take part to development and improvement of the technical specifications of the Injection system, tool design & standard
· Ensure the lessons learned related to his perimeter (Real shrinkage values, cycle times, injection process analysis either on development products or serial production products)
· Take care to be aware of the new technologies in injection & moulding field developed on the market (tool makers, components suppliers…)
· Take part to the Injection Molding meetings (worldwide)
· Is involved on the injection tool chart development
· Can lead or be part of a task force in order to solve recurrent issues on injection & tooling that may involve several “métiers”
· Support the supplier quality department for the toolmakers assessments and ensures that the toolmaker strategy (cost, lead-time, quality)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent in plastics or injection tools design
Good command of English
Problem solving skills
Able to work in intercultural environment
Team player
