The Company:
an Oil and Gas Company is seeking a Topside QA?QC Superintendence

The Role:
1. To adopt and to demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to Company Ethics and "Code of Conduct” policy and HSSE rules and regulations.
2. To be kept informed of Company Referential (CR, GS, and GM), international standards related to his area of responsibility, taking knowledge from them for application to the Project. To liaise actively with FPSO QA/QC Leader in order to be kept informed of changes related to QA/QC matters impacting his area of responsibility. To develop, as required, QA/QC specific instructions at Topside Construction Site.
3. To ensure promotion and implementation by Topside Construction team of the Project Site QA/QC plan and procedures.
4. To organize and coordinate the Package Surveillance Inspectors’ /QC supervisors’ tasks and activities in line with Package QA/QC leader instructions, by informing, supporting and directing them in their roles, responsibilities and objectives. To support the Package Surveillance Inspectors/QC supervisors in their daily works.
5. To ensure that the FPSO Contractor is enforcing his contractual commitments, is implementing properly his Contract QA/QC plan and objectives, is safely, properly and timely performing his activities as per Company specifications, design and codes. As such, he shall (or shall ensure through Yard QA/QC Supervisors):
- Participate to KOM with Contractor/Subcontractor wrt QA/QC matters;
- Review the relevant Contractor's and suppliers ITP's and QC procedures (discipline: Structural/Piping/ ... and activities: NDT/Welding/Painting/Coating);
- Monitor and control the implementation on site of the approved QA/QC plan, Surveillance plans, Inspection and test plans;
- Monitor the relevant Welding Qualification processes, and to ensure their satisfactory implementation and follow-up;
- Supervise the Project Surveillance and QC activities performed on site;
- Ensure that the works are closely inspected by the contractor’s QC inspection team (e.g. RT, UT, MPI, PMI, etc.);
- Review and ensure that all NDT and certification files are up to date, including documentation from vendors and contractors;
- Challenge Contractor and Sub-suppliers on QA/QC performance and Inspection activities, and to perform routine and random inspections on a daily basis in this regard;
- Monitor the work deficiencies (repair rate in particular), and ensure the implementation of the necessary corrective actions;
- Follow up on the implementation of decided action plans, or other mitigation plan issued;
- Stop & report immediately to Topside Company Site Representative and FPSO QA/QC Leader any anomaly or non-conformity;
- Interface with relevant Topside Construction team and FPSO Contractor’s QA/QC site authority on QA/QC issues and on the implementation of the Company QA/QC requirements;
- Attend and participate in daily meetings; Attend, when requested, the various QA/QC meetings, and support the Package Quality Leader in the various reviews
- Participate to QA/QC specific audits or visits; Provide regular QA/QC inspection & activity reports.
6. To implement and maintain, as directed by FPSO QA/QC Leader, the required FPSO QA/QC reporting system and to follow FPSO Contractor’s QA/QC activities through his reporting.
7. To ensure the follow-up of tracking of anomalies and non conformities performed by the FPSO Contractor and maintain required QA/QC indicators (KPI's) for the project activities in the relevant Topside construction site.
8. In General:
- To assist the Package QA/QC Leader as and when required
- To provide technical support and assistance to Company personnel, and also to Contractor' and Suppliers' personnel if needed, on QC methods and techniques
- To analyze / resolve QA/QC issues and problems encountered by Company personnel;
- To implement QA/QC methods for the supervision of the day to day activities;
- To enforce decisions/directions taken at FPSO Management level, as directed by FPSO QA/QC Leader.
9. To report to Topside Company Site Representative and FPSO QA/QC Leader wrt to QA/QC activities, in particular when deviations to works are detected.
10. To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation issued under his area of responsibility.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): min 10 years of QA/QC Experience
Experience in similar position (years): mini 5 in similar role
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent (with PCN/ COFREND, CSWIP or equivalent qualification)
Languages: English mandatory
