The Company:
Our client is an integrated global energy company with vast sector experience. It carries out Upstream and Downstream activities throughout the entire world.

The Role:
• Define Mud and Cement technical specifications.
• Assist to the Drilling & Completion Superintendent and Lead Drilling Engineer to plan, implement and monitors drilling fluids programs and properties and contractor cementing programs, achieving HSE standards.
• Provides Fluid´s engineering operations with the latest technological developments.
• Reviews and analyses well programs and actual well data to identify potential cost savings, safer and more environmental techniques and areas where savings could be implemented. Capture lessons learnt and contribute to optimizing operations.
• Work in close relation with the Service Companies and follow the implementation of the new technologies.
• To Audit the control of quality of the mud and cementing companies (QA/QC).
• Support of correspondence with the Authorities for Waste management issues.
• Preparing and review Standard Operations Manual, amendments and Troubleshooting guides.
• Participate to the technical workshops.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Oil and Gas University or institute high education (technical).
• Solid skill in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering.
• Well Control Certification.
• At least 10 years of experience in Design of Drilling Fluids Programs with affinity in different types of geological formations.
• Experience in different types of fluids WBM. OBM, Brines, completion fluids, etc.
• Experience in Under Balance Wells
• Loss Circulation Control
• Medium/High level of French and High level of English language required.
• Prior experience with high pressure and sour gas wells.
• Solid understanding of cost-effectiveness and general commercial business issues.
• Knowledge of Risk and HSE Management Standards.
• Knowledge and handling of Fluids software design, Well Design, Mud/Hydraulics, Stuck Pipe Prevention.
• Cost Estimation and Management
• Labour legislation basics; occupational labour and health protection regulations
• Good skills with PC in Windows environment.
• Have abilit
