The Role:
PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:

To perform in a professional, safe and diligent manner, the execution and management of logging operations within the UK and overseas.
Operational
• HSE
• Receive, control and prepare necessary equipment for logging operation according to procedures.
• Know effective steering documents for logging service.
• Assist operating company's representative in relation to the operations.
• Responsible for the execution of a safe logging operation according to effective procedures.
• Responsible for safety rules being complied to.
• Record all non-conformities that occur during the operation and report these.
• Responsible cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment in a professional manner according to installation's effective instructions and procedures.
• Pack, label and report shipment according to procedures.
• Report non-conformities in HSE, equipment and undesired incidents.
• Report relevant and necessary data for maintenance, statistics and experience data according to internal procedures.
• Be able to instruct and assist when teaching, training and promoting personnel when required.
• Participate in professionally-directed training as instructed by company and contractors.
• Participate in relevant project work / meetings / courses and any home work related to this.
• Participate in onshore activities such as upgrading of equipment, maintenance and equipment control.



Maintenance
• Ensure the necessary equipment maintenance is carried out as required to ensure job execution performance.

• Ensure that all equipment has a clean and tidy appearance in order to give the correct impression to the client.


Technical
• Have suitable knowledge of companies range of services and their application within the industry in order to effect minor changes to job programmes and discuss same with the Client.


Reporting
• Work effectively with other members of staff to ensure a harmonious working environment.

• Perform other duties which may be required as directed by your Manager or his deputy.

• Report any possible opportunities that may result in obtaining additional work and revenue.

• Maintain contact with your Operations Manager on an ongoing basis.

• All job relevant paperwork and reports to be completed and produced in a timely manner and when required.

• All meetings must be minuted on Minutes of Meetings and distributed accordingly for records.


Presentation
• Ensure that at all times whilst in the workplace you are a representative of the company and the correct image and impression must be given to clients and fellow contractors.


HSEQ
• Ensure all applicable quality and operational procedures as identified in manuals are adhered to at all times.

• Ensure all functions are performed in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.

• Ensure all incidents / accidents are immediately reported and relevant paperwork completed.

• Ensure all environmental procedures are adhered to at all times.


Training
• Ensure documented feedback is submitted to the Training Dept of all courses/seminars attended, to enable follow-up.
