The Company:
Our client is an international oil & gas operator.

The Role:
• Resident status, located in Basilicata region, in TCFMO at Corleto Perticara.
• Throughout the duration of the project, construction, drilling, services and local traffic will require regular and frequent access to the Province Road classified SP2, an eight kilometre single carriageway with limited passing places along entire route. Traffic impacts associated with this project and the road traffic require to be coordinated to maintain maximum utility and minimize delay period.
• Within a teamwork context and in accordance with the Italian legislation, the role of the Traffic Coordinator is to minimize the traffic impacts and delays associated with the construction and development of the Project.
• The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the transportation and the movement of ALL light and heavy vehicles on site in order run operations safely and to ensure activities in accordance with DGEP rules optimizing costs and reducing risks.

• Ensure compliance of Logistics activities with DGEP rules and HSE Italian legislation.
• Ensure that Contractor HSE practices are acceptable according to Company HSE referential and Italian Legislation and that adequate measures and procedures are being implemented and followed by everyone,
• Promote all actions in order to reach suitable HSE performances during the Project development.
• Adopt systematically a risk reduction approach to obtain a risk considered ALARP

• Focal Point for Logistics aspect on Site related with EPCs CTR.
• Compile all Circulation plan from Company and different EPC and drilling contractors and subcontractors
• Apply all Company procedures and rules in order to ensure traffic safely
• Develop and implement a Traffic Management Plan with input from all stakeholders and emergency services with clearly defined lines of communication.
• Perform all other duties to control traffic to protect personnel, plant, and roadway and members of the public.
• Coordinate the daily assignment of company and contracted transport resource to maximize utility and cargos while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Minimize disruption, identify existing and future transport problems and resolve any unscheduled delays.
• Accurately and regularly complete site checks and monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Education: Engineering Master degree or equivalent
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years experience in the Oil and gas industry with a solid background in Logistics or Transport Management. Good knowledge of the transportation industry, fundamentals and methods of scheduling and traffic convoy systems. Experience in bulk and/or hazardous commodities is desirable in Logistics and Procurement, with some experience in onshore Drilling and Completion activities.
• Profile: Maintain and exhibit excellent working relationships with contractors and internal departments. Ability to react logically and decisively to constantly changing operational requirements and to make decisions in difficult situations
• Language skills: Fluent in English and Italian. French will be highly appreciated.
• IT skills: MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).
