The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
• Adherence to Company Policy, Procedures and Yard Agreement.
• Quality, safety, health and environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others safety).
• To perform tasks which may be requested by Management.
• Individual risk awareness within job role.
• Be responsible for general good housekeeping and safe working practises in the workshop and on facility.
• To control the issue and receipt of rigging and lifting equipment to shop floor personnel.
• To ensure that all issued rigging and lifting equipment is tagged with the relevant colour code for the current period prior to issue.
• To update electronic database with status of issued and quarantined equipment.
• To ensure all un-used rigging and lifting equipment is returned to loft.
• To quarantine and report on damaged equipment returned to loft.
• To assist with the six monthly rigging inspection requirements and carry out a periodic reconciliation of rigging equipment.
• To uphold safe working practises within own work area.
• To repair safety clips to chain blocks, pull lifts and chain slings.
• To assist stores when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Competency Requirements:

• Successful SHE Induction.
• Previous experience of storage and retrieval systems.
• Computer Literacy
• An understanding of company Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental Systems and programmes.
• Communicate in a positive manner with shop floor personnel and discipline Supervisors.

Training Requisite:

• Fork Lift Truck Driving – Desirable
• Abrasive Wheels
• Refresher Training for Fork Lift Truck as required by the company.
