The Role:
• Conduct training courses within assigned training* section and training or assignments may include classroom, workshop, laboratory, and/or field training
* assigned area/ assigned training means the specific training section that the trainer is responsible for. (Emergency Response, HES, Technical and SERIP, Language & Development)
• Coordination:
Training Needs Analysis
- conduct general training needs analysis for the offshore and onshore workforce and stakeholders. Consolidate needs analysis into prioritized needs matrix and ensure correct needs are identified and are in line with the organization’s goals.
- devise a training development strategy in order to ensure that the needs of the offshore and onshore workforce’s development are met.
- coordinate the training schedule and implement the learning plan for the offshore and onshore workforce based on the agreed plan and priorities to ensure that the development needs and objectives are met.
• Course & Curriculum Development
- design and coordinate the overall training development program for the offshore and onshore workforce and make recommendations for improvements. The development program should include all activities from training to other learning methods that would enhance the competency level of the workforce.
- develop a curriculum, lesson plans and training materials for the assigned subjects and/ or training areas and ensure it is in line with business goals/objectives.
• Coordinate with the Training Administration team in all aspects of training courses & areas such as course scheduling, course announcement, course requirement (pre-requisite, pre-work to the training), vendor contact (if any), participants’ rosters, training materials and certificates.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly or annual training course evaluations and include it in the comprehensive report. Make recommendations to maintain the company’s standard through continuous improvement in the following aspects: lesson plans, teaching techniques against target participants, learning environment and course evaluation or questionnaires, formal training aids, practical pre-post test (oral or written), training standards, procedures and strategies, workforce development plan and execution, training facilities and other logistics.
analyze the training evaluation and make recommendations for improving training courses as necessary to ensure that the quality and standards of the training meet the company’s requirements.
• Participate in various roles of projects as assigned.
• Advise and consult, drawing on the knowledge, technology and trends related to the assigned training areas for the offshore and onshore workforce, both domestically and internationally.
• Inspect and test equipment and educational tools and advise/consult on standard equipment at the offshore and onshore facilities.
• Typically responsible for advanced training programs/projects. Individual unique contributions are a major element in the success of the organization. Keeps abreast of technological trends and developments in his/her training field, and proposes the implementation of new ideas, concepts and approaches. Uses training knowledge and experience to solve unusual or complex problems.
• Conduct upper intermediate level training programs, and design/ develop upper-intermediate level training programs in such areas as operations, maintenance, computers, cost effectiveness, inter-personal skills, supervisory/management, and policies/procedures.
• Conduct Organizational, New Hire Supervisory and Individual Employee Training Needs Analysis. When necessary, consult with customers to establish customized training contents and schedule.
• Conduct reviews, studies, make recommendations on the effectiveness of every aspect of the developed training program objectives.
• Conduct, analyze and improve class evaluation to measure impact of training on employee and organization e.g. design and administer various instruments and methods. Evaluate outside training resources.
• Facilitate supervisory/management meetings. Collaborate with trainers in other Departments to solve mutual problems. Conduct train-the-trainer programs related to the assigned area. Make overview presentation of new program to management.
• Coordinate and consolidate input for training budget.
• Review and monitor change in program content, testing, and certification procedures to ensure they meet Company and government requirements.
• Arrange/review onsite exercise observation of training programs and documentations to assure compliance and adequacy. Conduct certified skill/license assessment.
• Provide mentoring and training to other experienced trainers.
• Assist in contract negotiation with training companies, consultants and facilities.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• High vocational diploma in relevant jobsrience
• At least 5 years' training experiences
• Offshore experience is preferred
• Fluent in English with TOEIC score at least 500 or equivalent
• Ability to work collaboratively and innovatively as well as process-oriented.
