The Company:
Fircroft is looking for a Training Analyst to work for a Major European Defence company in Saudi Arabia.

The Role:
Primary Objectives and Functions:
To undertake analysis and evaluation of training delivered by the Prime Contractor at NGSS and in Regional locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is consistent and meets both internal and external requirements in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training Quality Standard (DSAT QS) and BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all duties in accordance with the Prime Contractor’s Evaluation Strategy.
Internal Validation Planning
 Develop achievable, prioritised, annual plan of Internal Validation activity, to be approved by Head of Training, comprising as necessary:
• Whole courses.
• Part-courses.
• Specific subject areas.
 React to arising matters by adjusting annual plan as necessary to accommodate emerging short-notice actions as directed by Training Design & Development Manager.
 Advise training delivery management and teachers/instructors of planned Internal Validation activity.
Internal Validation Analysis
 Conduct analysis of supporting course documentation, comprising:
• Programmes of Instruction (POIs).
• Instructional Specifications.
• Assessment Specifications.
• Task Scalars.
 Conduct analysis of training delivery materials, comprising:
 Lesson Plans.
 Pamphlets.
 Presentation media.
 Conduct analysis of formative and summative assessment and materials, comprising:
 Question banks.
 Test papers (including candidate instructions).
 Practical tick sheets.
 Test result validity and reliability.
 Conduct analysis of training & learning environments, comprising:
 Classrooms
 Laboratories
 Equipment rooms
 Any other
Internal Validation Reporting
 Produce and issue Internal Validation reports detailing scope of Internal Validation, findings and recommendations based upon objectivity for follow-up action.
 Produce other specific Internal Validation reports as necessary by NGSS management.
 Maintain limited-access electronic records of all actions pertaining to Internal Validation.

Other duties as required by the TDDM
 Advise on training and development issues to achieve contract objectives and assist longterm
planning and change management
 Contribute to Training Quality actions coordinated by Training Analyst.
 Provide leave and absence cover as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Recognised and accredited qualification in education or training to minimum NQF Level 4 or
equivalent.
 Experience working within a training or similar environment.
 Experience and detailed knowledge of the Defence Systems Approach to Training Quality
Standard and associated directives and guidance contained in JSP 822.
 Experience of the use of different learning taxonomies in curriculum development.
 Familiar with Interactive Learning methodologies.
 Highly-skilled in producing written work with best use of English language and grammar.
 Experience of producing management reports.
 Experience of producing spreadsheet solutions.
 Skilled in the use of MS Office software Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
 Possess a high level of customer focus and business sense.
 Possess the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
 Possess an analytical and logical approach.
 Be a self-starter.
 Have excellent time management skills.
 Be fluent in Speak
