The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
This role is responsible for leading the training effort on a major CRM refresh project. This project involves the global rollout of a new CRM system and way of working to 5 regional teams and staff at 220 retail outlets worldwide.

The role holder will work as a member of the CRM project team. They will set and deliver the training strategy for the rollout to all regions, based on a training blueprint that was established and deployed for the UK rollout. This will involve leading discussions with each regional team to agree a specific approach for each region, then delivering that approach.

A key element of this role will be the selection, procurement and management of appropriate external vendors, agencies and training providers to deliver training platforms and material for each region/ language. The role holder will be expected to: manage the development of the training proposition; and manage the delivery of the training; on time and budget.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Maximum of 5 relating to products, services etc.)
Management of the project’s Training Strategy
1. Conduct global training needs analysis which is aligned to CRM business objectives for the dealer network in each region.
2. Create comprehensive regional training plans with clear aims with measurable objectives.
3. Define and gain approval for the most cost-effective training approach to delivering training in each region.
4. Define and agree appropriate training tools and platforms for each region.
5. Work with subject matter experts where appropriate and keep up to date on latest industry methodology to inform strategic direction.
Selection and procurement of suppliers and training agencies
1. Work with regional teams to develop a tender brief to go out to training agencies.
2. Identify suitable training agencies to tender for the training in each region.
3. Manage the tendering process and support the Bentley Purchasing team to negotiate terms with training agencies.
4. Work with the internal Purchasing team to identify and engage suitable suppliers to translate training material into appropriate languages.
Management of training agencies and trainers
1. Manage training agencies and external trainers to produce high quality and effective training materials to enhance the learning experience for all learning styles.
2. Manage the Group MultiMedia Centre (MMC) to deliver and support a web-based eTraining tool for each region.
3. Set training schedules and facilitate training arrangements working with regional contacts.
4. Manage training agencies and trainers to deliver training on time and budget to agreed service level quality.

Evaluate and measuring training effectiveness
1. Ensure appropriate KPIs and audits are in place to demonstrate impact and areas for future focus
2. Evaluate the effectiveness of all training delivered, identifying and implementing recommendations to ensure learning and business objectives of all stakeholders are met

Global reach comprising 5 Regions: UK, China, Americas, Europe, International (comprising Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Japan).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1. Relevant experience of coaching, training or similar is essential; with project management & consultancy skills desirable
2. Experience managing large training budgets (£1million+)
3. Demonstrated ability to lead training development and delivery strategy
4. Training agency management and contract management essential
5. Proven experience of producing effective training materials, (e.g. eTraining programmes, trainer guides & lesson plans)
6. Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
7. Able to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
8. Ability to manage own workload.
9. Experience of working in a complex and diverse training environment
10. Experience in the automotive industry would be of benefit
11. Experience of working with Dealers, working cross-culturally & foreign language skills would be advantageous.
