The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
he Backbone Training Coordinator provides varied support functions to the Backbone Training Team, including assisting the Alaska Region administrators of Virtual Training Assistant (VTA); and scheduling and coordination of Anchorage and North Slope Backbone training.

The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
• Work with Backbone Training Lead and Trainers to provide coordination and scheduling of both computer-based training and classroom courses
• Utilize VTA and Microsoft Office software tools to manage Backbone training data and produce reports
•Support evaluation of training effectiveness efforts for Backbone
• Provide administrative support of VTA including assistance in the management of select user accounts, Backbone course assignments, course schedules, and completion records.
• Provide VTA user support for Backbone online training: answering how-to questions, playback troubleshooting, entering rosters, electronic records retention, and records research.
• Generate Backbone training completion reports and metrics, assisting training coordinators, and supporting system migrations as required
• Provide administrative assistance to the Backbone Training Lead and the C&T Manager
• Update / create leadership reports
• Assist Communications with training related communications
• Represent the Training Team with Stakeholders where necessary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:
• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer;
• Intermediate-level or greater expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Technical writing skills, with emphasis on training and process documentation
• Willingness and ability to organize a varied workload with minimal oversight. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for on-schedule delivery
• Exceptional interpersonal and team collaboration skills
• Strong networking, influencing and facilitation skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry • Experience with administration of database applications • LANGUAGES: English fluency required.
