The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
The Training Coordinator provides varied support functions to the Operations Discipline Capability Training department, including administration of Virtual Training Assistant (VTA); design, development, and implementation of HSE and Operations training courses; instructing select courses; and providing user technical support.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:
•Support creation of new training packages, both computer-based training and classroom courses through work with course owners and subject matter experts
•Utilize Articulate Studio, VTA, and Microsoft Office software tools to create training materials and manage training data
•Support evaluation of training effectiveness efforts
•Provide administrative support of VTA including assistance in the management of user accounts, course assignments, course schedules, and completion records.
•Provide VTA user support: answering how-to questions, playback troubleshooting, entering rosters, electronic records retention, and records research.
•Generate training completion reports and metrics, assisting training coordinators, and supporting system migrations as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications:
•Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer; •Extensive experience (3-5 years) in instructional system design, i.e., developing and maintaining training programs •Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, various instructional methods, delivery options, and training measurement and evaluation approaches
•Intermediate-level or greater expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint •Technical writing skills, with emphasis on training and process documentation
•Willingness and ability to organize a varied workload with minimal oversight. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for on-schedule delivery
•Exceptional interpersonal and team collaboration skills
•Strong networking, influencing and facilitation skills
•Demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service

EDUCATION:
Interm

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience evaluating safety and compliance training design and development including DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory compliance areas
•Experience developing computerized training packages using Articulate Studio software
•Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
