The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
Job Purpose

To Co-ordinate Work Based Learning programmes and provide a professional business support function.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks
•Co-ordinate Apprenticeship and WBL (Work Based Learning) activities.
•Liaise with awarding bodies, sector skills councils and trade bodies.
•Centre co-ordination and monitoring/maintenance of “Centre Implementation File”.
•Co-ordination of Apprentice reviews & Safeguarding
•Co-ordination of Functional Skills assessments and internal invigilation of exams/assessments.
•Maintain and monitor IQA supporting documents, Data inputting
•Education Partnership - Liaise with schools, colleges and support careers/promotion events.
•Co-ordinate Apprenticeship enhancement activities.
•Full administration and business co-ordination support to TA, updating of TA documentation.
•Co-ordination of Training courses (booking, joining instructions, room diaries, resource requirements).
•Contribute to overall operating standards of TA.
•Procurement of stationery, PPE, training/resource material.
•Creation and formatting of training and delivery material and co-ordinate Apprenticeship enhancement activities.


Qualifications & Experience
•Educated to a minimum of level 3 – or can demonstrate applied knowledge and understanding within the workplace
•Level 3 Training Qualification (PTTLS or equivalent) – training can be provided
•Assessors award (D32/33 with A1 update or CAVA) – training can be provided
•Knowledge of Work Based learnings programmes, development and delivery of OTJ training
•In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing Operations processes and procedures
•Able to use company manufacturing IT systems – eg EASE/FLAGS – further training can be provided)
•Knowledge of statutory regulations (HASWA/DPA/CoP Young/Vunerable learners) – further training can be provided)
•Ability to plan and monitor work activities, able to demonstrate organisation and planning skills
•Use of IT applications, Microsoft (Word/Excel/Outlook), proficient user – additional training can be provided
•Desk Top Publishing
•Communication – report writing, verbal and written, attention to detail
•Full UK driving licence
•Confident and outgoing – able to build long term relationships, passionate and enthusiastic outlook
•Strong interpersonal skills & active listening skills
•Flexible approach to working practices, able to work to and meet deadlines and targets
•Able to work with individual learners and group activities
•Willingness to develop additional skills and knowledge
•Punctual and good time keeper
•Additional travel may be required, flexible working hours (shift rotation, additional hours and during company shutdowns), support of external events – recruitment, trade shows, schools liaison etc
