The Company:
Our client is a nuclear specialist, covering both civilian and defence sectors, across the complete lifecycle from New Build, through Operations and Maintenance, to final decommissioning and waste disposal.

The Role:
The T-RAM Engineer is a design delivery role from a Throughput – Reliability Availability and Maintainability perspective working across a multi-disciplined design team. The T-RAM Engineer is responsible for supporting a reasoned auditable argument (T-RAM Case) that proves that the design shall meet its T-RAM targets.
This role entails liaison with, and management of engineers from other disciplines, including reliability and operational research. The T-RAM Engineer provides guidance and imparts knowledge in the field of reliability/dependability/modelling/substantiation to engineers on the project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Demonstrable competence gained in a design delivery position within a project based environment
• Experience in the nuclear sector is preferred.
• Experience of the intelligent application of relevant tools and techniques in Throughput, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability analysis such as FMECA, RCM, Parts Count, Discrete Event Simulation, Weibull analysis.
• experience of the application of BS5760, BS EN 60300 and related standards on Reliability/Dependability
• Experience of the application of BS 5760-18 or its defence equivalent detailing how to compose a Dependability/R&M Case
• Experience of the implementation of a FRACAS system including route cause analysis of faults and analysis of failure data.
• Experience gained in a design delivery role ideally from a highly regulated industry. This could be from but is not limited to the Defence, Pharmaceutical or Oil & Gas sectors
• Technical experience could be gained from but is not limited to precision engineering
