The Role:

• Actively promote project goals in respect of HSE, Budget, Schedule, and Technical Integrity.
• Lead by example in HSE, Quality and open communication within team and Contractors.
• Ensure that lessons learned are appropriately considered in the T&I engineering activities for offshore execution.
• Challenge Design change.
• Anticipate and identify adverse trends/events throughout the engineering/installation periods and work with the relevant parties to avoid them or achieve timely resolution.
• Assist in National AIOC Personnel training
• Mentor new team members
• Support team working and harmony and promote an effective and collaborative working environment with a ‘one team’ approach.
• Input into the Tender review and evaluation for future installation contracts.

T&I Construction Management
• Keep the T&I Manager informed of the key issues within the area of responsibility, proposing mitigations and recovery solutions to resolve problems.
• Responsible for monitoring contractor project execution performance and construction scope delivery
• Ensure that approved construction procedures, competent relevant personnel and specified equipment are in place at time of construction execution.
• Provide communication with the Installation Contractor’s site and vessel teams to ensure rigorous tracking of safety performance, schedule progress and SIMOPs planning
• Provide interface management with other delivery groups (Pipelines, Marine, Diving, GSH) GOO and the contractors PMT to ensure SD2 project requirements for T&I construction are met and delivered on time.
• Manage the construction interfaces between AIOC, SOCAR/KMNF, KBR, JPK, Marine Warranty Surveyor.
• Work closely with the appropriate project teams to resolve conflicts in the overall interest of the SD2 project delivery

address complex stakeholder groups and issues associated with Major Projects.
• Ability to intervene in critical situations in order to redirect focus and achieve the required result.
• A high level of proven communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
• Financial and commercial awareness.
• Self-motivated.
• Computer literate

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 10 years experience of general offshore construction and subsea installation
• Proven experience of construction vessel operations
• Proven capability of building and leading successful teams
• Experience with site management activities related to health, safety, and environmental issues
