The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experiened Transport and Installation Team leader to define the installation methodology including definition of marine fleet and equipment required for installation of the fixed platforms and pipelines.
Initiate and develop work scopes for vessel capability and upgrade studies by 3rd party consultants.
Work closely with the PSCM team in the preparation of T&I RFP documentation packages, including associated commercial areas.
Provide technical input on commercial aspects of the T&I RFP and assist during the Bid evaluation phase.
Support a continuous effort in optimising schedule flexibility to meet gas delivery dates.
Work with the Project design engineers in terms of installation support and opportunities.
Liaise and interface with installation contractors and various technical study teams.
Ensure Company QHS&E Management Systems are implemented and complied with.
Monitor the installation contractors engineering deliverables, planning activities and develop reports for management and planning group.
Liaise with the Project Marine Warranty Survey contractor during the review and approval of offshore installation procedures.
Participate in HAZID and Readiness Reviews, as required
Participate in risk & opportunity reviews throughout the project term.
Act as Knowledge Base for the Marine Installation aspects of Major Projects M&SS.

Develop and define the transport and installation methodology to ensure the fixed platforms and pipelines can be installed using the Caspian marine fleet, upgraded where necessary.

After T&I contract award, provide input on cost and commercial issues, working in conjunction with the Contract Administrator.

Responsibilities will include the development of offshore installation techniques and procedures for pipelines, barge launched jackets with piled foundations and float-over topsides, taking into account the lessons learnt during the project.

Work with the engineering design team and liaise with Marine Installation Contractors in the development of installation procedures which comply with Company, Project, National and International specifications, codes and standards throughout the Project ’Select and ‘Define’ stages.

Develop the offshore installation procedures for pipelines and fixed platforms in conjunction with the Installation contractors during the ‘Select’ and ‘Define’ stages of the Project.

Undertake management of the offshore Installation activities through the ‘Execute’ phase of the Project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer/University degree or equivalent relevant qualification in Engineering
At least 10 years offshore engineering & installation experience within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with a minimum 2 years site experience as an Offshore Representative.
Good knowledge of subsea installation technology (diver & diverless) with a background in project engineering, scheduling and bid evaluation.
Sound experience of marine pipeline design and analysis requirements.
Awareness of, and familiarity with, International Codes, Standards, Industry Guidelines and Practices related to Marine Installation activities.
Proven capability in assessing and evaluating risks and opportunities.
Knowledge of QHS&E Management Systems.
Strong presentation skills and software knowledge/competence.
Good interpersonal skills in a multi-discipline, multi culture environment
