The Role:
Looking for someone already located in Dubai as only 1 month contract...MUST SPEAK ENGLISH AND ARABIC

POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is an individual contributor role that is part of a functional logistics team providing travel coordination support to the Majnoon and South Gas Venture Project. This position focuses specifically on providing travel support to Iraqi nationals working on the Majnoon and Iraq South Gas Projects and South Oil Company employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Travel-Related Duties
 Arranges business trips for Iraqis and other Shell personnel including accommodation, flight bookings and transportation to ensure satisfactory and trouble-free trips.
 Preparation, collation of associated paperwork for visa applications through various foreign embassies
 Arranges the booking of internal events meetings, workshops, presentations etc
 Acts as the Iraq Travel Desk central point of contact and knowledge for the monitoring of travel related supply and service standards
 Maintain “iLogistical” database
 Provides administration support to Logistics Department as requested on an ad hoc basis
 Liaise with Emirates Iraq to coordinate UAE visa’s and travel bookings for Iraqi’s visiting UAE for business meetings, training and/or conferences.
 Monitor and ensure compliance with Shells Travel Policy and Procedures
Administrative Support Duties
 Maintains accurate records with regards to any travel arrangements and ensures instructions to travelers are accurate, clear and time related
 Raises requisitions in SAP for travel, accommodation and medical expenses
KEY COMPETENCIES
Critical:
 Must be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail
 Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment
 Posses the ability to adapt to changing conditions and work under pressure
 Must have a minimum of 5 years customer service experience and possess excellent customer service skills
 Professional oral and written communication skills; must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy, and with a high level of cultural sensitivity
 Must be English & Arabic speaking
 Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word
 Must have a professional appearance and manner
 Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
 Higher School certification
Important:
 Have either Travel & Tourism certification or possess a minimum of 3 years experience in the travel industry
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Desirable:
 Experience using Microsoft Visio
 Previous SAP experience
 Previous iLogistics experience
