The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
The Travel Coordinator will have previous experience:

• Manage flight and accommodation bookings for the Commissioning PMT
• Mobilization and demobilization of all Commissioning PMT Personnel, including IT
• Book charter flights
• Using INNfinity booking system for multiple camp locations
• Coordinate room usage with Logistics Coordinator and SWS to ensure best utilization of allocated rooms
• Ensure that bedding priority is reflected properly in bookings
• Maintain rotation schedule with excellent accuracy
• Update schedule with booking confirmations
• Relay flight confirmations to personnel
• Process amendments to bookings as needed
• Handle any after hour calls pertaining to flight delays, room booking issues, etc.
• Assist with Service Contractor administrative team regarding logistics and scheduling, ensuring alignment with protocols and procedures.
• Assist Senior Administrative Assistant with tracking vehicles and inspection requirements
• Assist Logistics Coordinator with various procurement teams to set up processes and ensure alignment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Travel Coordinator will have previous experience:

• College diploma or equivalent experience with 1+ years of logistics coordination experience in an Oil & Gas environment
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite of programs, specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Computer proficiency with general knowledge of networks and issue troubleshooting.
• Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as required to function effectively within a project team and to communicate with project management, contractors, and sub contractors.
