The Role:
Job Summary:

- To strengthen internal controls, reporting, manage the company's cash flow and all banking related activities. Working closely with both the sales ledger team and with the purchase ledger supervisor.
- This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work in a large local organisation with an international presence. The role will have exposure in a variety of business units including manufacturing, engineering, motorsport, sales operations and retail.

Role responsibilities:

*Closely monitor the company's cash on daily basis
*Execute foreign exchange transactions as and when required to meet business needs
*Main point of contact for all banking relations
*Prepare monthly and 12 month rolling cash flow forecast for the whole group
*Effectively coordinate with the accounts receivable / sales ledger area
*Monitor and follow up on subsidiaries cash positions
*Introduce ideas/recommendations to improve credit control and payments
*Highlight issues or shortfalls to senior management to facilitate decision making
*Prepare adhoc monthly reports as required
*Develop and implement internal auditing procedures
*Company insurance renewal and ongoing administration
*Maintain KPI's
*Ensure completion of control account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
*Monitor department's balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
*Manage the day to day finance processes
*Handle daily issues related to cash management and customers' accounts
*Assist Financial Controllers in the preparation of budgets and reports as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified (or equivalent). ACA/ACCA/CIMA - desirable
*Good communication skills, strong Excel skills and ability to prioritise
*Previous experience in a similar role
*Foreign currency transactions experience
*A team player able to work and communicate with both financial and non-financial counter parts
