The Company:
Major operator is seeking a Tulbular & Connectors QA Coordinator for a long term opportunity based in West Houston.

The Role:
Manage field representatives activities (Third Party Inspectors – TPI):
Coordinate TPI personnel for threading, OCTG inspection and make-up jobs.
Coordinate International TPI personnel utilizing Tier 1 companies by filling out the inspector request form with information pertaining to the scope of work needed and then submitting to the Tier 1 agencies.
Update and maintain daily TPI report, as well as, maintain TPI hours on a weekly and monthly basis.
Apprise new TPI on specifications, procedures, processes and reports per requirements.
After hours and back up weekend phone coordination to include contacting/scheduling TPI, distributor and service provider if needed and verbally approve threading orders.
Provide field surveillance as required at service providers.
Provide real time status of current jobs.

Quality Assurance (assistance to the T&C Technical Support Specialist):
Receive, review, approve with oversight, and distribute distributor task sheets, Accessory Lead Reports, and threading process control plan addendums.
Compare distributor task sheets to Green Book and Quality Control Plan requirements and distributor status reports, and report differences to the T&C team for resolution.
Verify information on task sheet or accessory lead report (Project, Business unit, Network number, Engineer, Rig).
Verify drawing and revision level. Approve and distribute.
Conduct Pre-production meetings – teleconference – (time/date PCP addendum)
Provide technical assistance to vendors and TPI, resolve issues and assist with conflicts with oversight.
Coordinate all aspects of threading process, schedule re-gauges and End Area inspection.
Schedule Buck-On and accessory make-ups.
Expedite Material/Parts when required.
Notify Wells QA/QC & Technical Support Specialist of any non-conformance.

Document Management:
Create/maintain files for Accessory Lead Reports, Quality Control Plans, threading orders and miscellaneous processes.
Maintain OCTG distributor task sheets on Wells QA/QC computer network

HSSE:
Use proper PPE and confirm that TPIs have proper PPE for each assigned task
Comply with HSSE requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A familiarity with Exploration and Production Well Systems related equipment, their manufacturing processes, standards, and specifications. Working knowledge of nondestructive testing, API and proprietary connections. Able to work independently and with limited supervision, strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
