The Role:
Pre-Operations Phase

• Anticipated assignment to the PMT commissioning team located in Ulsan for 6 – 9 months working on the overall commissioning effort, initially for SHP followed by Offshore Myanmar
• Interface with the PMT for the successful commissioning planning and follow with commissioning activities for SHP platform facilities.
• Assist in Initial organization of the maintenance group to include regional consultants and national staff.
• Specification of all maintenance / workshop tools to be purchased.
• Ensure that Vendor training SoW meets with the company’s requirements.
• Review and comment on the generic planned maintenance routines created by others.
• Produce isolation drawings for all turbine related instrument equipment for corrective and planned maintenance routines.
• In conjunction with the offshore maintenance team, establish maintenance and integrity KPIs for the operations phase.
• Support interfacing with PMT& contractor for a successful and well-defined handover process of SHP facilities and export pipeline, including the maintenance dossier (technical records and relevant data for the facility) from the EPCIC contractor.
• Accepts responsibility to produce deliverables that leads to a ‘flawless start-up’

Operations Phase
• Support and organize SHP ‘first-gas’ and early operations for key equipment requiring vendor reps and obtaining key baseline performance data.
• Assist the maintenance group staff and ensure teamwork among the team and in relations to the other operating groups.
• Provide supervision of vendor service contract personnel for site surveys and inspections.
• Liaise with the offshore maintenance department and the onshore maintenance support group (discipline engineers and technical authorities) for equipment repairs, associated maintenance and troubleshooting, and shutdown planning.
• Attend as required the weekly planning meeting at SHP.
• Liaise with the onshore Planner for the scheduling and release of planned maintenance routines per the 14-day plan and monitor performance via KPIs.
• Analyzes facility/equipment repair trends identifying root causes for the purpose of defect

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• At least 10 years oil and gas industry experience in maintenance of rotating equipment.
• At least 5 years in a significant lead technician role with demonstrated skills to successfully implement maintenance best practices, PMRs, and management of change..
• Understanding of turbine and compressor principles and theory.
• Basic understanding of Generator Principles and BOP.
• Ability to read and understand P&ID and OEM technical drawings.
• Basic understanding and practical experience of Allen Bradley, RS Logix and/or Siemens S7 control systems
• Ability to use specialist tooling to perform maintenance activities (Boroscope/Vibration/Laser Alignment).
• Previous experience of Solar Turbines and/or Siemens Gas Turbines desirable.
• Previous experience of centrifugal compressors and Dry Gas Seals desirable.
• Experienced with ISSOW and able to participate in a L2RA.
• Ability to communicate with and manage equipment (vendor) technical and multi-disciplined team in maintenance
