The Role:
To provide Safety specialist support, advice and guidance on company and legal safety requirements to the onshore asset support teams and offshore personnel in the assets.
Provision of high quality actionable safety support and advice to the campaign maintenance team. - Review annual contractor list for “Turnarounds” (TARs).
Determine and implement appropriate HSE controls
Provide HSE support to Contract Holders for HSE improvement plans, HSE plans and interface documents & risk registers
Support TAR contract and activity assurance plan
Support with HSE communications and engagements where required including workshops, away days etc
Maintain HSE communications for each TAR including, installation booklet, OIM letters, installation specific inductions, posters etc
Support HAZIDs
Review each installation TAR specific risk register including deviations, link high/medium risks to assurance activities
Communicate high activity risks and controls to senior management for approvals
HSE plan for each installation TAR including legal permits and ensure key milestones are implemented into the TAR documentation
Communicate, review and manage the HSE plans
Review and communicate TAR specific HSE KPI performance
Review HSE competencies required for safe completion of TAR activities on installations (via competency matrix review, competence reports delivered as part of contract meetings)
Ensure installation HRAs cover TAR activities
Onshore support and liaison for offshore HSE advisors
Correct drills
Spot checks on work pack preparation and hazard identification/management
Interface with Technical safety and marine logistics & emergency response parts of the organisation
Incident investigation support/FIM support/IRP Dimension
The position holds no direct reports
The position holds no budget accountability Special challenges
The role focuses on support to the campaign maintenance work scopes and the turnaround work scopes for all Company’s installations in the Central and Northern North Sea
Support is provided to both the onshore Campaign Management team as well as to the offshore team
The position demands a high degree of connectivity within the HSE team, the asset, and the HSE function
The position will be working closely together with the Operational Safety Specialists supporting the Asset Teams

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A good working knowledge of HSE requirements, including HSE policies, processes, standards, procedures
• Ability to coach and influence without formal authority or accountability
• Effective interpersonal, communications and presentational skill.
• Knowledge of relevant Regulatory requirements
• Understanding of the HSE-related aspects of local procedures and permits
• Good understanding of offshore operations
• Skilled in incident investigation processes
