The Role:
Company's Exploration and Production segment focuses on finding reserves of oil and gas, developing the means to extract and process it and then consistently producing and transporting it to market. This involves using cutting edge technology to find the energy reserves, the ability to drill thousands of meters under the ground, designing, building and operating some of the world's largest most complex production onshore / offshore facilities and finally being able to transport these fluids, in order to provide energy to the world.

Role synopsis Company invites qualified professionals to apply to Turnaround (TAR) Coordinator position and join a dynamic team accountable for Turnaround delivery across all AGTR. The role is based in Baku, Azerbaijan on a full-time basis as part of the Offshore delivery. The TAR team is accountable for all planning and execution of TAR events along with Region-wide assurance and compliance (Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia). This position is involved in the front-line planning, preparation and execution of TARs. This position interacts with a number of other Functions to ensure future mechanical integrity of assets. This is a significant career opportunity for the right individual to make a major contribution to one of Compny’s largest operating areas. During 2014/ 2015 we are scheduled for 5 significant TAR outages Offshore, with significant project scope in addition to the normal inspection and maintenance activities requiring TARs. During execution the position will form part of the TAR Leadership team offshore with the goal of delivering Safe and Efficient TARs
Key accountabilities • Communicate and follow up with various department representatives (I.e. Operations, Maintenance and Engineering) to define Turnaround (TAR) scope of work • Act as the custodian of the TAR official work list (Bookies Board) and ensure that all work requests meet Capital Value Process (CVP) for TAR criteria before adding work requests • Work closely with TAR scheduler and provide input into the detailed planning process for TAR execution schedule • Assist in the field coordination and act as a liaison focal point between on shore / off shore during TAR execution • Act as the focal point coordinating TAR scope growth process as per Growth Procedure • Act as custodian of the TAR preparation Action Tracker and follow up with extended team members to drive actions to completion • Act as custodian (Update and distribution) of the Turnaround Risk Register and associated risk action plans • Coordinate and lead preparation for Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS), Hazard Identification (HAZID), external review and Go / No-Go assessment sessions • Act as custodian of the TAR Management of Change (e-MoC) register and follow up with assigned coordinators to ensure readiness for execution • Coordinates the flow of information related to the TAR to the extended TAR team and contractors as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Essential experience and job requirements •5-10 Years experience in a leadership role in operations or maintenance on off shore platforms or equivalent on shore / downstream facilities •Excellent understanding of work planning and potential problem analysis (PPA) process •5-10 Years experience as a user of maintenance management system (MMS) software applications (Maximo) in generating / planning work orders •Working knowledge of Engineering standards applicable to oil and gas industry (API, ASME, etc.) •Ability to read and understand Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID’s) and piping isometric drawings •Proven track record of achieving results from a position of influence within a multi-disciplined/cross functional team •Prior Turnaround, shut down or commissioning and start-up of new facilities experience •Good communication skills •Self-Management skills •Strong team player •High safety awareness and focus •Aze

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desirable criteria & qualifications • Engineering degree desirable • Experience in the use of CVP-TAR or other stage-gated Turnaround assurance process. • Experience in the use of Guidance On Certification (GOC) or equivalent certification system(s) in support of delivery.
