The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
The main responsibilities of Turnaround Field Operator:

•Attend and participate in all required training sessions leading up to the TA, review all required SWP’s prior to TA
•Successfully complete system qualification
•Learn and understand shutdown, decontamination, and startup plans, procedures and timelines
•Familiarize themselves with the scope for assigned systems
•Work to ensure the safe permitting of work in his/her system or area. Responsible for conducting the site visits and issuing the permit
•Execute the planned procedure or operational activities scheduled for the shift. Barriers to the plan are escalated to supervision as soon as possible.
•Ensures all systems are isolated, drained and vented prior to activating the isolation for maintenance
•Monitors field work activities to ensure all tasks are being completed to allow for system turnover
•Familiarize themselves with maintenance leads in assigned areas and partner with them to help ensure efficient/quality scope execution.
•Complete all PSSR walk downs prior to system start up
