The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and gas operator and has operations though out the world.

The Role:
The Turnaround Specialist is responsible for coordinating all the activities for the whole Turnaround / Shutdown activities for its internal and external resources in a safe and timely manner. The role will require the candidate to develop the necessary strategies to complete the turnaround and will need to be involved with the Planning, Scheduling, budget, cost control forecasting, execution and closeout.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities;

- To manage Turnarounds through use of Project stage gate process.
- Successful planning and executing Turnaround.
- Active member of the regional Turnaround management team.
- Authorize any changes made to the scope of work.
- Manage risks by leading risk assessments.
- To mitigate for and minimize production losses.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Diploma or relevant Experience required (however degrees may be required for Visa in certain countries.)
- Proven track record in managing Turnarounds in a Production facility as a project using stage gated processes
- Good understanding of project planning software.
- Has proven track record delivering strategic objectives.
- Have a strong Operations and Maintenance background.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree Educated
- Successfully resolved conflict.
- Oil and gas background but will also consider Nuclear, or power industry specialists
