The Company:
A major international oil and gas operator seeks a turnover and acceptance engineer to join their team

The Role:
The Turnover & Acceptance Engineer will take the lead role in coordinating the gathering and handover of all documentation to the relevant operating organizations including project operations, FE, partner, pipeline network operating company) as required. The Turnover & Acceptance Engineer will interface directly with the operating organizations listed to determine specific requirements for turnover and work with the project team to plan a successful handover of facilities and supporting documents accordingly. The Turnover & Acceptance Engineer will work together with other project engineers, ops reps and document control, and shall review for quality contractors' Project Document Schedule (PDS), Facility Engineering Databases (FED or asset tag register) and necessary commissioning and systems completion certificates. The Turnover & Acceptance Engineer will also ensure other necessary handover activities such spare parts set-up, initial inspections, excess material disposal, etc are coordinated and executed in a timely fashion.

Position will require foreign travel including trips to France, Angola and the DRC.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidate must have an engineering degree or 10+ years in an operating or maintenance organization.
Ref. Education
Technical Skills: Must be familiar with reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents. Knowledge of pipeline installation and operation, offshore platform installation and operation, drilling operations desirable. Technical Interface Management: Able to interface with multiple groups including maintenance, operations, project team, contractors, and vendors. Team Work: Strong commitment to working in a team environment. Ability to work well within a multinational team including Angolan and DRC Nationals. Communication & Organizational Skills: Be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written. Must have strong planning and organizational skills. Self motivated with attention to detail and follow through.
