The Company:
Our client, a major owner-operator is currently looking for a turnover coordinator for their SAGD oil sands project near Fort McMurray, Alberta

This position is only open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent residents of Canada, currently residing in Canada.

The Role:
• Develop and maintain system turnover definitions and schedules including alignment with the Quality Assurance (QA) team
• Oversee completion of contractor construction activities in systems and prepare punch lists to ensure readiness of systems
• Liaise with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Operations during turnover and acceptance ensuring smooth transition from projects to operations
• Liaise with EPC and represent Client in contractor meetings, reporting back to home office and Client CSU Manager
• Manage contractor’s completion punch lists and ensure timely completion of all outstanding work and turnover documentation
• Provide weekly and monthly reports with regard to the status of system completions
• Ensure turnover is in accordance to company policies, standards and procedures
• Compile all turnover documentation including maintenance manuals and procedures
• Collaborate with Maintenance Planning and Operations TCCC (Turnover Care Custody Control) to obtain required sign-offs
• Define maintenance spare parts requirements and assist with defining commissioning systems

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree from an accredited technical school, college or university.
• Equivalent industry professional development and accreditation from an industry recognized association or institute.
• Experience in project turnover as a Client Rep is highly desirable.
• Over 7+ years of construction industry experience Quality Assurance / Quality Control, Preparation of Hydrotest packages, Process and System turnover experience is required. The candidate should have excellent technical, planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge and conversant with document control and turnover process & procedures within heavy construction industries are requirement for this position.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
An engineering degree would be an asset.
