The Company:
Our client is an international oil & gas company

The Role:
The Service holder is responsible for the control, following-up, monitoring and supervising of the Turrets construction activities carried out by the FPSO Contractor (and Subcontractors) at the Turret Construction/fabrication yard.
The Service holder represents the Company on Turrets yard in direct relation with the Contractor for the turret activities, with the aim to protect Company’s interest. Turret fabrication is split into 2 parts: The Lower part handled directly by
FPSO Contractor on the shipyard and the Upper part Subcontracted by Contractor and for which fabrication site is still to be confirmed. The job holder is responsible for managing the Company Turret supervision team assigned on site.
The Service holder shall ensure for the turret activities that all HSSE, Quality and Technical contractual requirements are duly applied by the FPSO Contractor and all Subcontractors on the yard. He ensures also the overall Turret
construction planning and milestones are met and the construction cost remains within the contractual budget.
The Service holder leads several Superintendents and/or Supervisors, in all disciplines and, as such, is acting as team leader, informs and motivates them adequately, and gives them clear priorities / directions for the performance of their
The Service holder ensures that adequate reviews and comments are performed by his team on Contractor and Subcontractors construction/fabrication documentation or Queries issued within Turret’s perimeter and ensure their full
implementation by Contractor (and subcontractors). He ensures adequate reporting (progress, area of concerns, actions...) on regular basis to his management.
The Service holder organises / participates to routine and/or random inspections and audits, to daily / regular construction meetings with Contractor and promotes safety awareness at all level through exemplary and pro-active
attitude with Project team and Contractor (Subcontractors).
The Service holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE, ethics and “code of conduct”.
The Service holder may perform his missions toward the end of the EPSCC contract, and may also have to be involved in his activities during FPSO hook-up, installation and offshore commissioning phases.

1. To adopt and to demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and HSSE rules and regulations.
2. To ensure promotion and implementation by the Turret Construction team of the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy.
3. To be kept informed of the project Referential, international standards related to his area of responsibility, taking knowledge from them to application to the Project.
To liaise actively with his Superintendent discipline Leaders in order to be kept informed of changes related to technical matters that may impact his area of responsibility.
4. To ensure promotion and implementation of the Project HSSE plans and procedures.
5. To ensure that the FPSO Contractor is enforcing his contractual commitments wrt the turrets fabrication, is implementing properly his Contract plan and objectives, is safely, properly and timely performing his activities as per Contract specifications, design and codes for the part fabricated in the shipyard.
As such, with the support of the supervision team and with regard to the Turrets fabrication, he:
- Participates to Construction / site meetings with Contractor/Subcontractors;
- Ensures all construction/fabrications documents are verified and compliant to technical requirements;
- Ensures that, for all disciplines, Contractor have adequate resources (equipment and manpower) mobilized in due time to performed the job;
- Ensures that all required inspections, audits or equipment certification required are performed in time and that all corrective action plan is properly implemented by Contractor;
- Ensures the timely completion of the works and monitor closely Contractor performance, work schedule and progress; Reviews or corrects the monthly site progress;
- Ensure that all fabrication steps and pre-commissioning activities are properly completed for a delivery ready for commissioning;
- Ensures that uncompleted activities are properly tracked and recorded under the punch list system;
- Stop the work when necessary & report immediately to Contractor any anomaly, violation & unsafe practice;
- Participates in the regular HSSE Committee meetings & Safety Tours;
- Maintains good relationships with Contractor, but being strict to achieve the project
6. To manage, control and drive efficiently the Turret Fabrication Supervision team (supervisors and superintendents) assigned on site. As such he:
- Provides HSSE advises or technical support to the construction team as necessary;
- Analyses / resolves issues and problems encountered by his Construction supervision team and make necessary arbitration between different disciplines (the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project);
- Motivates all members of the team to perform the job at highest quality level respecting
planning and cost objectives;
- Informs and ensures that relevant decisions/directions taken by Management, are correctly understood by the team and enforced on the yard;
- Control that Supervision team is well performing and that sufficient resources are in place to secure properly the activity;
- Provide adequate supports and assistance during commissioning activities.
7. To report on regular basis to his management about turrets fabrication efficiency, and potential drifts on quality, planning and/or cost.
8. To propose actions plan and corrective actions to his management for any supervision or control process improvement.
9. To propose actions plan and corrective actions to Contractor for any fabrication deficiency, anomaly or non compliance.
10. To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation issued or matters raised under his area of responsibility.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): 15 +
Experience in similar position (years): mini 10 with same managerial experience.
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent.
Languages: English mandatory
