The Role:
Verify and approve Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ construction drawings, fabrication procedures and methodologies, and
ensure that Contractor and/or Subcontractors have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to
performed the Service with the required quality level and to compete it in due time. He may assess CTR/Subcontractor
organisation, preparatory works and methodology, fabrication processes, subcontracting plan and performances to
ensure the best efficiency for both Turret piping prefabrication and installation.

He reports on a day-to-day basis directly to the Turret Construction leader and his delegates.
The Service holder (and his team) ensures also a clear cooperation and coordination with Turret and Hull Engineering
Team which are proving assistance, supports, advises and expertise to ensure that Turret construction and precommissioning
activities are technically performed in line with the projects requirements.

The Service holder may have to lead several Turret Supervisors, and, as such, is acting as a team leader, informing
and motivating them adequately and giving them clear priorities/directions for the performance of their duties. He also
provides them support and assistance in their organisation, job scheduling and coordination with other disciplines to
ensure quality and timely completion of their work.

The Service holder organises and participates to routine and random inspections and audits, assists to daily / regular
Construction meetings related to his discipline with FPSO Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or
HSE visits and tours... and ensures an adequate reporting to the Turret Construction leader (areas of concerns,
problems encountered in its discipline during construction and implementation both by its shipyard Construction team
and FPSO Contractor and/or Subcontractors).

As a general manner, the Service holder provides assistance to the shipyard Construction team with all matters related
to his discipline and organise its pre-commissioning activities in close coordination with the commissioning team.
