The Role:
Responsible for all the activities related to the engineering, construction, installation, inspection and tests of the Turret
structures within the FPSO team, and represents the Company technical authority for this discipline (Turret Structure).
Organisation, supervision, controls and coordination the works relative to the discipline as well as works and studies
performed by the FPSO/Turret Contractor/Subcontractors
Perform detailed review of the structures supporting the weathervaning bearing systems (main bearing and lower/radial
bearing if applicable), ensuring that the design incorporates appropriate allowances for vessel deformations, fabrication
tolerances and wear.
Responsible for the Weight monitoring of the Turret during engineering and fabrication phases, providing support to the
overall FPSO weight control stewarded by the Topsides team.
Ensure that all deliverables (both internal and external) related to the discipline are issued on time and are fit for
purpose. Coordinate and consolidate reviews by other FPSO or Corporate specialists and organize and coordinate all
corporate engineering reviews and audits, as necessary. Ensure that all corporate engineering reviews and audits are
performed in due time.
Actively liaise and collaborate with the Hull Leader, Topsides Engineer Leader and specifically with the Naval Architect
for all the structural interfaces and engineering issues between turret/hull and topsides areas. Ensure that all
engineering interfaces with other concerned packages are duly dealt with and managed in coordination with the FPSO
Interface leader.
Support the supervision of structural works in the fabrication yard(s), in close cooperation with Company Site
representative.
Provide engineering support when required for responding to Technical Queries and Technical Deviation Requests.
Responsible for ensuring that the Turret structures are fit for their intended purpose, are operable, maintainable and
reliable - within the budget and schedule for completion.
The service holder reports to the Turret Engineering Leader.
Accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements and for
implementing HSSE rules within his area of responsibility.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): 10-20
Experience in similar position (years): +/- 10 with experience with sound experience in offshore structures.
Experience on FPSO and/or other floating structures preferred, and experience of turret mooring systems would be a
distinct advantage.
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent (Degree in Structures and/or Civil & Building Engineering).
Languages: English mandatory
