The Company:
Our client is a leading international oil & gas operator.

The Role:
MISSIONS
• To ensure that the Project Quality Management System activities are implemented by Package Team Personnel.
• To monitor the performance of the Contractor and Subcontractors in achieving the Project Quality Requirements.
• Coordinating the Quality Control Activities with a strong support to packages regarding Metallurgy, Welding and Non destructive Testing.
• The UFR QA/QC Engineer has an Hierarchical Link to the Package UFR QA/QC Lead. He/she has a Functional Link with the UFR Senior Welding Engineer, NDE Engineer and Coating Specialist for all technical matters involving quality control activities.
• Comply with HSE requirements
• Take part in the implementation of the Safety Culture process “IMPACTS” within Moho Nord Project

ACTIVITIES
• Assist in the implementation of the quality management system,
• Assist in implementing the continual improvement processes, (Lessons Learned, Customer Satisfaction etc),
• Coordination of Package QC activities to ensure that Contractor Quality activities are planned and carried out in accordance with Criticality Assessment and Surveillance Plan requirements,
• Ensure that all planned Surveillance and Test activities comply with the specified requirements,
• Provide assistance to the UFR QA/QC Lead in implementing the Package Audit Programme to cover Surveillance audit activities during all Package phases,
• Participate in regular meetings to keep abreast with all issues relating to the Project. Discuss and review opportunities for the optimization of assigned work programs,
• Review the Contractor and Vendors documentation,
• Participate in the KOM and/or PIM.
• Review and validate manufacturing records.
• Review and comment all related manufacturing record books.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification: Education to HND/BTS level or COMPANY approved equivalent in engineering discipline.
Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum 10 years of experience associated with Quality Control, coordination of quality activities within Construction and pre-commissioning of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Vocational qualifications: Welding, NDE and Coatings qualification (PCN, COFREND, CSWIP, BGAS or equivalent)
• The ability to communicate well at all levels within the COMPANY and to demonstrate leadership. In addition, the candidate must possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
A familiarity with General Specifications (GS) and International codes/standards. Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
