The Company:
Global Oil Company looking for a UK Communications Consultant for London offices.

The Role:
1. Communications:
a. Serve as a single point contact in the UK offices for communications matters, with the responsibility for internal communications with the UK-based staff working to support client’s regional business agenda in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
b. Maintain AGT Region’s visual identity across the UK offices in Sunbury, Leatherhead, Staines, Paddington and Canary Wharf.
c. Update plasma news screens with the latest news and relevant information about the AGT Region
d. Develop communication plans and recommend the most effective communication channels to promote connectivity between the UK teams and the organizations based in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey offices
e. Collect and write business success stories and send them to Internal Communications manager in Baku for further communication among the AGT Region via the existing channels (intranet, internal news publications)
f. Create a sense of “One Team” by providing the AGT Region’s Communications & External Affairs (C&EA) Team with the news and messages from the UK offices, and vice versa.



2. Publications:
a) Contribute to Compass magazine (internal publication) and Intranet by providing input from the UK offices;
b) Coordinate and design any other internal publications materials (posters, flyers and any other images as required) ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to.



3. Event management:
a) Coordinate and develop timelines for planning, organizing and implementing events for the UK-based staff working for the AGT Region
b) Support leadership events for the new hires and Challenge programme participants working in the UK-based AGT Region offices
c) Plan and execute leadership town halls and ‘lunch and learn’ sessions in the UK-based AGT Region offices
d) Maintain network with the Azerbaijani, Georgian and Turkish representations in the UK, including embassy, any other associations and communities in the UK;
e) Support cultural and sport-related events that promote image of the AGT Region in the UK

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree obtained in UK university (if any other – then IELTS certificate required)
• UK citizenship or permit to work
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and customer service skills
• Ability to set goals and timelines and to work on deadlines
• Project management skills
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with a variety of people, both internally and externally
• Ability to work as a team member
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani language (written and oral) is an asset
