Our client is an international oil and gas operator.

The Role:
Location: London / South Korea
Assignment title: UK Compliance Lead Topside
Contract Period: Asap End: 01.05.2016
Option period: 2 x 6 Months

Assignment description:
UK Compliance Lead Topside is based in the Topside Construction Team in Korea for the majority of the period. The position will then report to the Integration Manager function in the team. Start of the assignment will be at topside design office in London.

The main responsibility is to ensure that the Topside is delivered and documented according to UK requirements. This will include, the following subtasks:
• Ensure that client team and Contractor are familiar with and do follow up according to UK Authority requirements
• Ensure that all necessary documentation is developed and delivered within area of responsibility
• Plan and coordinate monitoring activities related to UK compliance issues
• ICP coordinator for the topside
• Cooperate with the Safety Case Contractor
• Cooperate with the Mariner Facility UK Compliance Lead and ICP contract Company Representative

Compliance Manager Topside must have experience from similar previous positions with good knowledge of the UK Authority requirements for all parts of the Topside.

Project information:
The project is a heavy oil field development on the UK continental shelf. The facility project consists of a large PDQ platform (process, drilling and Living Quarter), topside weight approx. 35 000 tonne, a jacket substructure, a ship shaped FSU for storage and offloading and infield pipelines and cables. Gas for power generation and a light oil for dilution of the heavy oil will be imported. A new operation centre will be established in Aberdeen.The project was sanctioned in December 2012, Topside and Jacket EPC contracts were awarded in December 2012 and first oil is planned end of 2016.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years of experience from relevant execution phase projects for Facilities located at UK continental shelf
• Experience with follow-up of engineering/construction contractors
• Co-operational and communication abilities
• Structured, systematic and target driven with well-defined goals
• Multi discipline understanding
• High HSE and ethical standards
• Ability to handle high work load
• Mobile
