The Company:
For an Offshore Capsian sea project, an Operator is looking for his/her Umbilical Design and Fabrication Lead.
The role will be firstly based in Paris then relocated in umbilical manufacturing plant on Q1- 2018
The daily rate is 606 EUR.

The Role:
The service provider is responsible, within the project, and under URF (Umbilicals, risers, Flowlines) Package Manager responsibility, for all the activities related to the engineering, supply, procurement, manufacture and fabrication of Umbilicals (production and SSIV control umbilical).

The service provider will ensure during all phases from design basis until umbilical installation and precommissioning the technical authority for this package. The service provider organises, supervises, controls and coordinates the works relative to the umbilical package. The service provider will be supported in his duties by other CPY team members, in the umbilical manufacturing plant, or on board the installation vessel.
The service provider shall ensure that all Umbilicals deliverables meet project schedule and technical requirements. The service provider shall also ensure that all engineering interfaces related to Umbilicals are duly dealt with and managed with other concerned packages (i.e. SPS package and receiving platform).
The service provider will assist SPSpackage for the follow-up of design, manufacturing and testing of controls equipments delivered to the URF package for the integration in the umbilical, such as ulbilical UTH, and connectors.
The service provider is also responsible for validating the equipment qualification status (procedure / programme / report) and shall remain, during the construction / installation / commissioning phases and with regards to Umbilicals, the correspondent for any engineering issues, for any advice to be given or technical deviation request to be analysed and answered.
For this purpose, the service provider will join the CPY supervision team during the offshore installation campaign, in order to monitor the umbilical integrity and address all potential technical queries in a proactive maneer.
The service provider will remain the focal point with Tech for the technical matters related to umbilical package, and will provide regular feed back.
The service provider may be requested to provide Technical assistance to URF Package Manager for potential contractual & commerecial discussion with URF Bidders and Contractors, as well as support to any potential insurance claims. This includes compilation of claim dossier, with all supporting documentation.
The service provider reports to the URF Package Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Service provider must have:
Minimum 20 years experience in Design, Fabrication, offshore installation and pre-commissioning of umbilicals (including UTH and SDU), from both Operators and Contractor's organization, in particular:
Have a significant experience as CPY representative on umbilical manufacturing sites,
Have a significant experience in offshore installation/pre-commissioning activities,
Worked in international environment and be used to cover multi Site fabrications
Have already provided technical support to contractual and insurance claims
