The Company:
An oil and gas major company is working on a multi-billion dollar deepwater project in Indonesia.

The Role:
Purpose :

- To support the COMPANY Development Team during project Execution Phase in the installation (performed by Contractor) of subsea umbilical, distribution (including Workover Umbilical, SDU, UTA and related foundations), ensuring that Project requirements, industry standards and best practices and best practices for safety, reliability and cost are met;
- To assist the COMPANY Development Team during the installation and pre-commissioning/ start up performed by Installation Contractor.
- To review the installation Contractor's design documentation and drawing/layouts, reports, installation analysis, pre-commissioning procedures of the umbilical, distribution including Workover Umbilical, ensuring that Project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety reliability and cost are met;
- To review relevant umbilical supplier'sdrawing under SPS package and provide installation related inputs.
- To learn and became confident with all COMPANY standards and Project Specification in order to verify Contractor compliance;
- To ensure the umbilical, distribution installability and operability;
- Perform Yard/site visit and interfacing with the installation Contractor;
- To assist the preparation of installation procedure by Contractor and participate in installation campaign.
- To interface with COMPANY Project Interfaces with other Project Contractors
- Support SPS WP leader for installation related inputs/interface raised by umbilical supplier.
- Follow-on of the installation contractor engineering including the management of comment sheets of the discipline;
- Assure compliance of installation Contractor with job standards and specifications for the discipline
- Participate with installation contractor for mobilization, load-out at site, onshore support, preparations for the campaign, spooling, testing activities, laying, post testing activities and pre-commissioning of umbilical and distribution.
- Participate in troubleshooting during construction, installation, commissioning and start-up

Responsibilities :

- Yard visit and Interfacing with the Contractor on all installation related issues;
- Ensuring installation of subsea umbilical in line with the Project objectives, technical interfaces and requirements.
- Review of installation Contractors' subsea umbilical installation related design, documents and drawings, installation analysis and preparation of comment sheets.
- Expediting of technical interfaces between installation contractors with other parties.
- Daily reporting to RFI Work Package Leader.
- Witnessing of acceptance tests for all the subsea umbilical performed by installation Contractor (Transpooling activity at site, installation, pre-commissioning, Commissioning and start-up).
- Participate in offshore installation and liaise with both Umbilical supplier's technician on-board and the installation contractor to ensure installation contractor is following the installation guidelines provided by umbilical supplier and also following approved installation procedure prepared by installation contractor.
- Daily reporting to RFI Work Package Lead including reporting of progress as required by the Company.
- Follow-up the detail engineering performed by the installation Contractor relevant to subsea umbilical and distribution
- Reviewing and commenting technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. technical reports, specifications, procedures, applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specification, Contract, International standards and Engineering best practices;
- Ensure that all internal and external Interfaces (especially with SPS and FPU) are correctly managed by Contractor;
- Actively participate in offshore installation, commissioning and prodcution start-up.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or Diploma (Marine and Installation)
- Not less than 10 years of relevant working expereince in oil & gas industry in Subsea installation Projects.
- Not less than 8 years of relevant expereince of working with contractors and supervising the contractors.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with umbilical installations.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The job holder must proven:
- Good knowledge and understanding of the umbilical installation for deep water development such as :
* Construction & Installation, Integration Testing, Installation Offshore, Installation Supervision, Plant Construction.
- Good abilities to read, understand, intepret and write reports and documentation.
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Experience of working in multi-national environment.
