The Role:
Underground Piping Supervisor – Corpus Christi (Construction)

Candidate will have at least 10 to 15 years experience working for other major EPCs in chemical, refinery &/or Oil & Gas Projects along with a minimum 5 years of supervision experience. Prefer client side experience overseeing all underground piping contractors. This role requires someone who can lead and make decisions so previous supervisor experience is a mandatory requirement. **Previous HDPE and GRE piping experience is mandatory.**

* 10 to 15 years within the underground piping discipline
* Previous HDPE and GRE piping experience
* Candidate should have background within Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical industries.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform directions ordered by Construction Manager.
2. Coordinate and arrange general construction activities in execution.
3. Generally comprehend the current progress status on site.
4. Analyze the performance of subcontractor and see that manpower control is exercised in accordance with original plan.
5. Supervising the installation/erection of all underground piping systems
6. Carry out inspections and review/check hydro test packages
7. Punch List items & Walk downs
8. Check all necessary documentation including contractor as-builts
9. Expediting tasks on site and expediting smooth flow of construction activities

Position Description:
The Underground Piping Supervisor is expected to do at least the following work:
1. Be the focal point for ensuring all integrity related issues are managed and that the appropriate support is provided to the construction team.
2. Reviews impact of clashes on all underground piping systems, buried electrical works, and foundation works and make recommendations for remedial work.
3. Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings with all U/G contractors
4. Provide expertise to support technically underground piping systems installation.
5. Provide expertise to answer technical and installation queries.
6. Review design packages and provide technical support to new projects.
7. Perform Fitness-for-Service (FFS) evaluations and recommend suitable repair.
8. Review and update underground piping drawings, standards and introduce new U/G piping technologies.

9. Provide Support to the following activities:
a. U/G Piping layout design and routing relevant to the assigned unit or area.
b. U/G Piping general arrangements and piping isometrics relevant to the assigned unit or area.
c. U/G Piping isometrics in the reference P&IDs.
d. U/G Piping bill of materials.
e. Piping and layout design specifications and construction standards.
f. Review of IFC design packages in accordance with approved company standards.
g. Job specifications for U/G piping fabrication, inspection and testing.
h. Hydro test, pre-commissioning procedure for new underground piping systems.
