The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
On offer is a 12 month contract, Perth based to join our client as the Upstream Hook up and Commissioning (HUC) Materials and Logistics Co-ordinator. In this role you will need to travel in the first few months overseas and there may be some occasional onshore and offshore travel scheduled by next year also. In this position, you will be required to support the HUC delivery team with various logistical and material management matters surrounding:

• Assurance of HUC Contractor material and logistics plans
• Oversight of material and equipment coordination required for the HUC onshore and offshore campaigns.
• Oversight of supply base activities supporting the Platform (storage, handling, preservation, road & marine transportation, labour and equipment).
• Assist with Customs clearance of material and equipment into Australia.
• Support Company Vendor Representative Coordinator with material and logistics requirements.
• Transition of HUC material and equipment from Project to Operations.

You will be responsible for performing Owner's Team assurance activities associated with oversight of Contractors material and logistics planning and execution processes for both Company and Contractor materials and equipment.

Other Key Responsibilities include:

• Proactively identify risk and develops risk mitigation plans for HUC supply chain.
• Deploy work processes covering all supply chain activities which will include warehousing, road, sea and air transport, supply base activities marine and aviation support for the HUC Delivery Team
• Coordinates interfaces with Supply Chain Management (aviation, marine, fuel, warehouse and supply base)
• Liaise with Delivery Team and HUC Contractor to identify, record and monitor the status of all HUC material and equipment (including spares).
• Participate in appropriate HUC weekly meetings and provide weekly updates/reports.
• Monitor the Contractor’s procurement reporting to ensure progress is being made toward material deliveries and that relevant transportation and logistics activities are in place to support the works.
• Visits to other locations as necessary including Karratha and offshore

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you must have strong safety leadership skills with previous exposure to major oil & gas company safety culture. In addition, you must be able to present ideas and communicate effectively across all levels of management. It will be preferred if you'll have a degree in either engineering or business and logistics.
