The Company:
Our client is one of Australia's largest exploration and production companies and a key energy provider in both the domestic and international marketplace. They have significant interests in offshore exploration, coal seam gas and renewable energy with a major commitment to safety, quality, and environmental issues.

The Role:
An experienced planner, with a proven background in major project planning, ideally with the Oil and Gas industry, is required for a Brisbane based contract assignment.

The primary role is to ensure best practice in Project Planning and Schedule development and work with the Project Teams and Contractors to establish and maintain Schedules

Review scheduling data and providing input to Contractors schedules to ensure adequacy you will also monitor contractor and project actual progress versus planned progress. Preparing overall schedule report analysis, you will ensure all related information, including deviations, are communicated to project management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ability to communicate clearly and confidently is required as you will interface with various project teams including Cost Control, Risk Teams and Project Management.
